HIDA HR will conduct prescreens with all eligible candidates identified by the committee. Notes will be provided upon completion and shared with the committee.
Confirm finalists for interview.
Schedule live/on-campus interviews with search finalists. The school HR contact will help organize live/on-campus interviews.
The search committee conducts interviews with finalists.
HIDA HR will conduct reference checks for selected candidates. Reference checks only need to be completed for the selected finalist, unless the committee plans to use this feedback to help make their decision.
The school HR contact will submit a request to hire to HIDA HR based on committee recommendation.
Once the request to hire has been approved, a committee member (ideally, the committee chair and/or intended supervisor) provides a verbal offer to the selected candidate. Relay response to school HR contact to address accordingly.
HIDA HR will proceed with background check.
